Theme: How the world works Central Idea: Materials behave and interact in certain ways which determine how people use them. Lines of Inquiry:   1. Behaviors of materials 2. Manipulation and application of materials to new purposes Key Concepts:   Function,  Causation,  change   Related Concepts:   Behaviour,  Prediction,  Innovation Profiles:   Knowledgeable, Risk taker,  Thinkers Attitudes: Creativity, Confidence, Enthusiasm   TD Skills: Communication skills, Research skills Date: 30.03.20 Today we have done an experiment. We used any two 3D shaped containers and keep water in and made 3D shaped ice by keeping the containers in freezer. We observed the changes in materials. We applied comparative degrees in sentences. We did it today in a bit different way. We compared objects from our home and made sentences with that. We enjoyed doing that. We played "Think-Tac-Toe."

We got different things like: nutshell, clay, thread, straw, wax, toothpick, piece of cloth, foam, screw etc to play and make our own things using our creativity. In groups, we used our creativity and made many things. It was so exciting! We were wondering what could be the purpose of using those different things in the class.
